Operations Assistant -

This is an immediate start for the right candidate.

The company & the role

CARD Group is a specialist provider of research, data, and evidence-based consulting services. Working with an international client base, we help our clients to better understand their customers.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Assistant will be providing administrative support to assist the daily operations of CARD Group.

You will be responsible for liaising with suppliers by phone and email and organising interviewer schedules for Research Officers so strong organisational and communication skills are essential.

You will also liaise with interviewers to ensure quality standards and targets are achieved at each stage of the process.

The Operations Assistant has an active role in live and post-project data cleansing.

There is a potential of progressing within CARD Group. The role is based in our Belfast office.


Key responsibilities

  • Liaising with interviewers and supervisors to book and schedule market researchers for projects.
  • Assisting the Research Coordinator with projects, acting as point of contact for shift allocation, checking in and checking out before and after shifts; quality assurance of collected data.
  • Maintaining regular contact with suppliers
  • Regularly checking data and it’s quality for all projects, passing on feedback to the team when necessary
  • Efficient, courteous and professional approach by phone, recording and conveying accurately any messages
  • Keeping computer records up to date
  • Contributing to a positive working atmosphere
  • Maintaining confidentiality of private and confidential information
  • Highest levels of personal and professional conduct at all times
  • Shared responsibility for continuous personal and professional skills development
  • Other relevant duties as requested by the Operations Manager.


Criteria for the role and expectations

  • Previous administration experience is essential
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Ability to achieve personal and team targets and demonstrating ownership and accountability
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written – excellent level of English spelling and grammar in particular
  • Determination to get the job done to the highest levels of quality
  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and communicate at different corporate levels
